Mackinaw Brewing Imperial Vanilla Stout

On tap at the brewery. Opaque black with small to medium burnt tan head. Aroma is roasted chocolate malt with some smoke, dry. Flavor is pretty dry with milk chocolate and substantial roast, vanilla is present but only composes a finishing flavor and almost comes off as a little artificial, coffee. Medium body with nice creaminess. Solid, almost like a pancake beer with that vanilla flavor. But of course burnt pancakes.
