Commercial Description:
Bottled. Brewed by Forth Brewery for Maclay. <br />Honey Weizen is an amber ale buzzing with Scottish heather honey. Myrtle and hops are added, resulting in a very complex balance of sweetness, bitterness and spice.

From cask at Clockwork Orange. Pours slight cloudy and deep orange with a small white head. Sweet and mild herbal aroma. Sweet malty and light herbal flavoured with a vague yeasty touch. Somewhat gingerish too. Smooth honey herbal finish with a medium sweetness.

Bottled. Amber coloured with moderate head but overcarbonated. Honeyed malt nose, spice and fruit tanginess in the mouth with a slightly smokey background and a fairly dry finish. Certainly not a German or Belgian style wheat beer.
