Poured clear pale amber with little fizzy head, weak corny aroma. Clean mild sweet grainy taste. Short faint bitter finish. Not bad as far as value brands go.

473ml can
5.0% ABV
I tried this beer on September 30, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent pale yellow colour with a very generous white bubbly head that quickly disappeared. The aroma was weakly grainy malt with no other noticable odours. The mouthfeel was weak-bodied, watery, with a lot of carbonation. The flavour was pretty skunky, with an acidic bitterness and not much else. The beer went down faster than a glass of orange Kool-Aid.

Can: clearish -yellow appearance with small white head. Week aromas of corn adjuncts and grain. Taste- deplorable. No backbone, or meat for that matter. Thin and bland

473mL can from the LCBO, because I’ve never had it before, not because I’d actually expect it to be good. Pours your industry standard pale yellow with a medium white head. Decent lacing. Smells like your industry standard pale lager. Not impressive, though not repulsive. Tastes, decent, not necessarily ’good’, but better than the average. Starts out like any crappy pale lager, a touch grassy suggesting hops may actually have been used in the brewing process (or maybe just actual grass) but finishes surprisingly well with some sweet grains and faint hints of hay, though not enough to impress someone such as myself who tends to love those flavours. The absence of gross adjuncts in the flavour works to its advantage, though that may not mean they aren’t in their hiding. It’s like a crappier version of Molson Stock Ale, though still something I’d put above most other macro Canadian crap. Probably makes a decent party beer. I’d take this over a Keith’s any day.

(can) light lager gold with generous white head. Malt aroma. Flavor is light malt/grain. The can say’s it’s a pale ale, but it clearly isn’t. I’d’ve believed you if you’d told me it was a cheap lager.
