Very light feel and flavors gradually gain more weight and intensity, forming a pleasant flavor bloom of grain and grassy hops. Hazy amber. blankboy (3204), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Draught at C’Est What Spring Festival. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small somewhat-lasting fluffy white head. Aroma of buttery toffee (diacytl?) and floral notes. Flavour, again, of buttery toffee, slightly watery and with a bitter finish. Light bodied. Not very good. HogTownHarry (4002), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2009 Cask. At C’Est What Spring Fest. Hazy amber with a fluffy white head. Leafy aroma, slightly burnt, sadly "whelmed" by diacetyl. Taste is soapy, leafy and dry - but not papery or buttery. Light, flat, astringent mouthfeel, with a long, unpleasant and harsh finish / aftertaste. Not good, loses two marks for calling itself a "bitter" - I just got back from a week of real bitter in the UK: this ain’t no bitter. garthicus (1276), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
