Cask at Volo. Very light feel and flavors gradually gain more weight and intensity, forming a pleasant flavor bloom of grain and grassy hops. Hazy amber.

Draught at C’Est What Spring Festival. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small somewhat-lasting fluffy white head. Aroma of buttery toffee (diacytl?) and floral notes. Flavour, again, of buttery toffee, slightly watery and with a bitter finish. Light bodied. Not very good.

Cask. At C’Est What Spring Fest. Hazy amber with a fluffy white head. Leafy aroma, slightly burnt, sadly "whelmed" by diacetyl. Taste is soapy, leafy and dry - but not papery or buttery. Light, flat, astringent mouthfeel, with a long, unpleasant and harsh finish / aftertaste. Not good, loses two marks for calling itself a "bitter" - I just got back from a week of real bitter in the UK: this ain’t no bitter.

Cask at Cest What?
Appearance: Hazed amber brown with good creamy white top.3+
Nose: Off, creamy , butter aroma , some tartness. Quiet and unpleasant.
Flavor/Palate : Character old black tea. Creamy tart feel. Forgettable very poorly made ale.

On tap C’est What Spring Fest 2009. Orange, small white head. Fruity, buttery aroma. Uh-oh. taste again is fruity with tons of butter.Watery body. Ok at best, but fix the butter problem, that is not good.
