Pours golden with a rocky, white head. Exciting carbonation.
A rather bready malt flavour. Hay, some hops. A dry finish. Light on the palate. Unpleasant lingering flavour of cooked cabbage... Nothing special...

Nov 18, 2008 Pours pale golden, with quickly dissipating white head. Faint aroma of not very much in particular, and quite weak on the palate too, with yeast predominating in the mouthfeel.

Oct 24, 2008 Slight hop aroma, clear golden colour with meduim head retention.
Flavour is slight malt sweetness with a slight bitterness, finishes with a malt astringency.
Overall a well made NZ lager, could be better balanced with hops and without the malt astringency.
