| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Bottle. Pale straw yellow, slightly unclear, moderate white head, no lace. Fresh floral citrus aroma, cardamom and almost a kaffir lime note. Palate delivers similar flavours, with some ginger spice as well. Medium sweetness, dry finish. Nice. nate2g (1095), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Draught at Mac’s Brewbar, Auckland. Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. This isn’t big on aroma, subtle notes of citrus and herbal tones. The flavour is wheat, citrus and herbs. Medium bodied with OK bitterness. Plain and boring. donfardz64 (427), Wellington, New Zealand
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 9, 2009 Bottle. Pours cloudy golden, big fluffy white head. This one smells like a wheat beer, with citrus coming through some coriander notes. Sweet smelling.
Herbaceous flavour with a citrus fruitiness cutting through sweet bubblegum.
Flavours are somewhat weak however, but the right flavours are there.
A very solid effort for the only mass produced witbier in NZ. Second best of the regular Macs range. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia

Nice orange, corriander and clove notes, with wheat malt. Seems to be a blend of a Hefe and a WIt, which are great styles to combine. Was medium bodied, creamy with a nice citrus bubblegum finish. I will try this again, and I’m pretty sure it was moderately priced too. Definitely worth trying. DonBirnam (75), Wellington, New Zealand
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours coudy and pale yellow with a deacent sized head. The description on the bottle (bubble gun etc..) highly optimistic. Citrus and corriander only determinable flavours. Not dissimilar to a Hoegaarden, but much less interesting. Quite a clean, watery mouthfeel. Sweet flavours of bubblegum and citrus, but mostly hops. A great member of the Macs family.
