On tap 01.05.09. Clear gold, white head. Aroma is citrus, malt. Flavor is malty and hoppy and typical for a pilsner.

Sweet, hoppy nose with fruity notes, including grapes and citrus. Pours a rather boring yet clean, pale yellow with a thin white head. A deliciously bitter, fruity palate. Strong, grassy hops, yet quite a fruity pilsner. Grapefruit and lime zest with straw like malts. A slightly astringent finish, but overall a very refreshing beer. Very proud of the NZ pilsner styles so far, and Macs is one of the best.

A deep golden colour with a white fluffy head. Lightly hopped nose with floral notes, but the first sip offers a far more complex flavour than the aroma’s let on. A smooth mix of passionfruit, malt and floral hops which both begin and finish the mouthful. Perhaps a hint of vanilla at the outset, but a strong hoppy bitterness throughout to stay true to the Czech style. Crisp and refreshing, best of the Mac’s range.
