Great coppery colour and clean head with a fine whiff of hop. There is a good biscuity flavour and caramel notes which delights the palate. There are a number of flavours that come out but I must say there is something lacking that I found in the Copperhop stablemate that I have had both on tap and in the bottle. This is still good and is well priced that won’t preclude the odd purchase of a sixer. kiwibt (51), , New Zealand
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Aroma of citrus with a crystal malt background. Red/Coppery in colour with meduim head retention and carbonation.
Flavour is sweet nz saaz hops with a astringent malt background.
Not a bad beer but hop profile is to sickly sweet and malt astringency doesnt work for me. markas101 (575), Fargo, North Dakota, USA

Pours a deep amber colour, thin head, very hoppy aroma that does not follow through to the flavor. A good beer, but perhaps not as good as the Mac’s Copperhop for hops lovers. omhper (12245), Stockholm, Sweden

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Lovely red colour with a big beaded and lasting head. Dry aroma of Saaz hops. Taste is light and simple, more hops to this bitter than you would expect but without them this would really disappoint. jonno (586), Brisbane, Australia
