Commercial Description:
An easy drinking, delicately refreshing beer. A Belgian yeast has gifted this beer with aromas of banana, bubblegum, Turkish delight and rose petals. As the glass warms, the aroma evokes memories of warm rhubarb with hints of aniseed. Underlying all this, the orange peel comes through, manderin balanced by a delicate floral note from the coriander. The palate is smooth, velvety and mouth filling. The low bitterness is compensated by a refreshing tartness.

Cloduy pale yellow beer. Aroma is very citrusy, coriander and orange feature prominantly. Flavour has a bit of wheaty spice and is full of orange, coriander and other citrusy flavour. Wheaty and spicy finish. Fairly thin-bodied.

Tasted 09/03/2005. Pint from tap at the brewery. This beer is fresh. Pours a cloudy light gold with an almost greenish hue. Aroma again has this stange beans smell that seems to come out of this brewery’s beers (and my teeth hurt again in aticipation - the glass is freezing). With those damn beans I get some good soft pepper and, down the glass as it warms, a good coriander note springs up. Flavour is an improvement but in its freshness it is somewhat lacking in the mellow roundedness I like in a beer. All the flavours (water, wheat, citrus) are quite individual adding up to a sum that doesn’t quite get you where it could. Good tart finish is fresh and cleansing. Might be oa lot better if a lot warmer.
