Commercial Description:
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

Canned version brewed/canned by <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/ShowBrewer.asp?BrewerID=721>Pacific Western Brewing.

Copper with thin head. Fruity floral and notes of citrus hops, which is also present in the flavour. Very smooth with a medium bitter finish. Nice balanced session beer for the summer.

Pours copper amber with a tall white head, dissipates gradually and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is slight citrus hops. Flavor is disappointingly watery, but better than typical grocery store beers. It’s not even sierra nevada.

Draft at Pyramid Ale House in Walnut Creek, CA.. Poured a clear amber color. Head was off white with decent lacing. Attractive flowery hop aroma. Slightly sweet on the tongue with a pleasant buttery caramel flavor balanced nicely with the citrusy/flowery hops. Delicious.

What to say peat and hops ...very interesting. Page 374 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 284 of his Classic 500 Brews to go.

A decent ale. Not many Scotch - Irish to choose from. Extra points for the Mac and not Mc.

Poured a rich golden bronze color with a head that vanished completley. The nose was strong with citrusy hops. Below was hearty malts with a crisp fruitiness of apples or pears. The flavor contained sweet bready malts, cookie dough and an element of single malt scotch. A brushing of grapefruit hoppiness encircles the beer and brings a perfect balance. The grapefruit-like zest really complements the flavor of the malts. Drinkability is very high and is suitable for any type of occasion. Exellent!!!

12 oz. bottle- color of medium amber , with a decent eggshell color head - nose of bitter hopps , earthy , citrus , malts , and roasted – taste of citrusy hopps , earthy , slightly dirty , and lime zest - body thin, and with medium to high carbonation – aftertaste of citrus , and tar
