Commercial Description:
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

Cloudy light copper appearance. Strong malty aroma. Slight hoppy with a big malt finish.

Ruddy copper color. Medium head. Hoppy and malty. Citrus backnotes like orange marmalade on white bread toast. Clean finish that shows off the cascades. Satisfying. Will purchase again.

The sniff: citrusy hops, not as crisp as some hop oders. You really have to inhale to smell the hops, it dosen’t hit you in the face. The look: Dark amber, not uber dark though. The taste: lightly hoppy a tiny bit of malt to balance it out, good! On the palate it is wet and wild with little aftertaste, light and bubbly. This is a fairly good beer.

Big aromatic hop aroma with some sweet caramelness. Light amber color, almost orange. Taste has nice hoppyness, good bittering hops, and a slightly sweet toasty finish. Mouthfeel is satisfying as is the co2. Not bad.

An aroma like I’m sticking my nose in a bag of pellet hops. Very light amber in color with medium carbonation. Starts sweet and floral, then finishes grapefruit/piney. Not great, but would make a good house ale.

Good Beer. Not my favorite by any means, but it does have a good look. I love Mac’s other beers, this is my least favorite.

Bottle from Mac’s in Cincy. Poured a deep amber with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly. Good hoppy sweet aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate hoppy sweet citrus flavor with an average bitter finish.

Pours burnt orange with slight tannish head. Nose is sweet and sugary with an underlyiong floral presence. Medium balanced palate with toffee-like malt character. Finishes with a slight bitterness.
