Commercial Description:
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

Canned version brewed/canned by <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/ShowBrewer.asp?BrewerID=721>Pacific Western Brewing.

Bottle from wohlfs. Pours standard amber with nice off-white head. decent citrus aroma up front, sweet caramel malt background. Flavor is all sweet malt, with very little citrus detectable. Aroma helps maintain a decent score I’m sure.

Amber with a dirty white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy (citrus and floral). Body has solid malt character. Flavor has a slight roast character that switches into a weak grassy hop taste. Quite mild in all aspects. Smooth and easily drinkable. Has a weak caramel backbone.

12oz. bottle. Yellow-orange amber with a medium sized foamy white head. Mild grassy floral hoppiness with a buttery diacetyl backing in the aroma. Herbal hops and caramel malt flavors. Diacetyl creeps in and dominates the flavor by the finish, which is shares with a residual Cascade type metallic bitterness. Mouthfeel is light medium, fairly dry.

Mild aroma that has a floral hoppiness to it. Flavor is mildly hoppy with a bit of a bitter kick. Body is light. Finish is dry. Would make a decent lawnmower beer. Would only buy it if I could find it cheap. I wouldn’t pay more than $4.50 for a six-pack of this stuff.

Citrus aroma that catches at first. The first sip was spicy that disappeared as it slides down the throat leaving you wanting to take another sip. A little bitter then I expected from this ale, but a good starter beer at the restaurant.
