Nose is caramel, light hops, malt, and dried fruit. Taste is better than expected with light hops, chewy malts, light citrus fruits, and caramel. Surprisingly tasty but this was the first I had this evening and I was craving a beer. Body is light-medium with medium carbonation. Finishes with more caramel, light hops and big maltiness. Really not that good of a beer but it hit the spot this evening. HopsOrDie (687), New Lenox, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 7, 2005 Very fizzy pour with an amber color and small white head. Aroma is very caramel and toffee malty with citric hop aroma thrown in. Flavor is more like an American Pale with a carbonation zing on the tongue. Caramel malt and citric hop flavor make this very easy to call a house session favorite. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 3, 2005 Fair, but a bit off balance with the too much experimentalism. Too creamy for a pale ale, too hoppy for a stout. Weird one. (Edit: I think this is nitro’ed, which is the difference. A nitro’ed pale ale. Right.) 11026 (1779), Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 31, 2005 Bottle. Pours a medium amber color and clear with a decent white head and good lacing. Aroma is nicely malty with caramel. Stronger side of light bodied. Malty, sweet and fair hop presence in taste. Fair for an amber ale. sneagrams3 (1760), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 23, 2005 Had this on a flight on Alaskan Airlines. Smells and looks nice. Light mostly but with a little amount of hops in the end. Engouth to make in enjoyable. Reminiscent of Sam Adams, but with a little metallicism from the can. Pours a rich orange with a coarse, foamy head (at 38,000 feet, at least).
Rich aroma, with surprisingly assertive scent of sweet floral hops. Limited mouthfeel, somewhat watery and poorly carbonated (but again, consider the venue). The flavor blends toasted malts with a hop notes, unfortunately, this is coupled with a medicinal and metallic bitterness that I doubt can be attributed solely to the aluminum can.
This is no world-beater, but it is preferable to most of the typical in-flight alternatives. 6/3/5/2/9=2.5

Pours an attractive warm clear amber with a limited head. The hops
in the aroma
are grassier/dustier than one would expect given their claim to use
Cascade, bits of cracker malt in the aroma as well.
The flavor is a straight-ahead mellow amber ale, slightly
grassy, slightly sour, bits of hops here and there, slightly sweet malt.
Nothing particularly special about this beer, but in it’s favor, it has no obvious flaws (beyond a slightly thin mouthfeel) and is easy enough drink. 6/3/6/2/10=2.7
