The best part about it was the creamy feel and the mild bread aftertste. Nothing special. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a nice clear amber color with smallish head. Nose is malty and a little sweet. Immediate carbonation hits the tongue upon first taste followed by a well balanced sweet toffee/caramel and a slight bitter hop flavor. This is pretty nice, but probably a bit too carbonated for me. I would never guess this to be Cascade hops... they are subtle and soft - almost Kent Golding or Fuggle-like. Nicely done beer with a medium body. Thanks Kevin! | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2005 Pleasing spicy, hoppy aroma. transparent amber color. Decent pinky sized head that staid longer than normal. Really smells great. Water is the first thing I taste. Then some malt comes in about mid taste followed by too little hops. Drinkable enough, but too thin to be a great beer. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

Pretty rich nose considering the style with a light caramel malt and butter toffee hint, along with a lightly aromatic, citrusy, floral hop scent. Upon tasting, it’s a bit to feeble for my palate. Light and watery, with oily hops and diacetyl. And this was fresh. 5000 (2634), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Bottle: Orange biased amber, moderately sized fizzy off-white head, spotty lacing, lively carbonation. Straw oriented malt based nose, slight grainines or even cereal. Waxed milk carton like as well. Soft malted body, thins out at the end, clean, but not terribley crisp. Semi-sweet, with a fairly average body and mouthfeel. Subtle hop flavors on the exit. Definitely not very big, but smooth, and somewhat easy going.

Light bodied and smooth with a strong Cascade presence. Not bad for an Amber. BrewDad (2378), Olympia, Washington, USA

This was the beer that changed me forever on drinking and buying beer. A great beer with a great tatse. I love the flavor and finish of this beer.
