There’s a hint of malt in there too, but no descriptors come to mind. Appearance is what you’d expect, a fairly deep amber with a small, very quickly dissolving head. The flavor is mild, watery, and bland; boring. The palate is typical cheap beer: the brew itself is thin, and the carbonation feels artificial with large, soda-poppy bubbles. The finish is horrid, with those bitter, piney cascade hops hitting the back of your throat and just hanging around forever. Stay away from this one. barleyPops (1079), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

aroma: can’t smell much.
color is deep amber, almost a red. flavor is medium-body mildly sweet, but finishes too heavy on those cascade hops. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Smells of oranges and flowers with some peanuts. The taste is light oranges and a hint of breadcrust. Very light and thin mouthfeel. Nice taste, but could use a little more body. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2005 Not quite as good as their IPA, but still a nice brew. Pours a nice deep amber color with a rather substantial head. Taste is heavy with caramel which lead into a hoppy finish. The tastes kind of fall apart at the end though, due to a bit of an acid/acrid something-or-other that is my only complaint with this one. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 10, 2005 Pours amber almost copper with a nice tan head that lingers for a bit. Aroma is hoppy. The flavor is very drinkable somewhat malty with a nice medium body. A little sweet and some caramel flavor. It is smooth and a nice ale on a hot day. I liked it. This brewer hasn’t disappointed me yet. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2005 Bottle Pours a clear medium amber with a modest offwhite head. Spotty lacing. Aroma sesm to be a decent ballance of citrusy hops and malts. Flavors are fairly hopy and wody. A bit acidic and bitter. Feel is thin and aftertaste is a bitter woody flavor. Nothing special. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
