Dec 3, 2004 Medium amber w/a lasting white head. Caramel & toasted malt pretty well balanced in the aroma w/ spicy/herbal hop. A moderate pear fruitiness and hints of diacetyl. Well balanced flavor w/ caramel and toasty nutty malt. Light herbal hop flavor in the finish & aftertaste. Low fruitiness in the flavor; some sweetness and yeasty flavors also in the very finish. Higher carbonation, smooth m/f, lighter body. Drinkable enough, decent session beer. Good beginners beer.

Oct 26, 2004 Light rich golden orange with hints of amber. Nic ehop nose of pine, and citrus and light bready roasted notes. Medium mouthfeel with lots of prickles on the tongue and nicebitter dry finish. Light roasted flavors, hops, citrus, peach and all in all a nice flavor throughout. Nothing special but definatly tasty!

Oct 12, 2004 pours a lighter amber color little to no head, dissapating quickly. Tastes just like Portland ale but with more malts.

Sep 22, 2004 Average, too-clear orangey appearance. Rather flat looking. Slightly nutty, bready aroma, but not much of that. Mouthfeel is like a good ESB, with initial sweetness and a little bit of bitter dryness at the end, but this beer has very simple malt and hop features in the flavor. Finishes with some almond and pretty thin. Basicallly designed not to offend, and it doesn’t, but it has little to offer.

Aug 9, 2004 Deep gold in color. Has a sweet hoppy aroma. Has a hoppy flavor as well as being mildly sweet. Finish is a little bitter. Finish is a little more watery than I like. But is still a good brew.

Jul 25, 2004 Ok, I am trying to rate these ambers with an open mind. Beer pours amber in color with a nicely retained off white head. Arom is surpiringly malty with a bit of citric hoppy aroma as well. Infinetely more appealing than your average amber. Flavor is pretty middle of the road. Starts out a bit malty/toasty and finishes a bit bitter like an ESB. Decent beer.
