The aroma has notes of carmel and toasty malts, orange zest, floral and grassy hops, and dusty yeast esters. The taste starts with a malty and yeasty note, some citric twang and a peppery undertone. Moderate biiters upon the finish. The feel is crisp but not clean, subdued metallic finish. Okay, nothing special. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Aroma was balanced with hops and malt, the citrus hops stood out a bit more. Taste started slightly sweet and ended with only a mildly bitter finish. A bit watery tasting, not very impressive. OK pour with a one finger off white head that dissipates into a bubble film. Good amber color. Nose is a bit strong with notes of citrus, hops, malts, and sugar. The first taste was not good, but after my tongue adjusted, it got better. Flavor notes of spice, black pepper, and citrus prevail. As the beer warms, it gets much more enjoyable, with the citrus flavors really coming alive. Finish is a bit spicy on the sides of the tongue. To really enjoy this beer, let it warm a bit before you drink it. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA
