Commercial Description:
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

Canned version brewed/canned by <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/ShowBrewer.asp?BrewerID=721>Pacific Western Brewing.

Light amber color with an off white head. Pine aroma. Nice pine/malt taste but really kind of bland for its style.

Oh sweet mercy, an amber ale that poured with a mighty head out of the bottle, havent seen that in a while. Aroma's of citrus, sweet malt, and sweet fruit. It poured a clear ambery orange color with a fairly good sized head that nearly overflowed its bounds. More foamy than creamy, but still lacing here and there. The taste is definitely abounding with hops. Your nose and mouth get smacked with a hop jolt right at the start and then get gently caressed by a caramel malt sweetness, and a slight grapefruit acidity in the finish. The finish reverts back to a nice floral feeling, with a warm belly feel...i like.. Fairly clean palate, definitely overboard on the carbonation, but likeable.

Good amber flavor. Nice medium body, characterized by a pleasant maltiness, balanced by a floral hop finish. Very drinkable, smooth, enjoyable.

Will rate again off tap someday. Not too bad, had a color like an oiled baseball glove. PLENTY of cascade hops and possibly some Mt Hood as well. Clean, crisp, slightly acidic/sour/citrucy taste. A mildly astringent mouthfeel, but a rather watery finish. Nothing phenomenal at all, but its great for a kegger.

Light amber with a nice aroma. Drinkable, with a measure of caramel sweetness to go with the hops. Not too bad overall, but I’m not sure how it lives up to what it claims to be.
