Commercial Description:
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

355 ml bottle as MacTarnahans Amber Ale. Amber body with a relatively small off-white head. Moderate aroma of sweet malt and citrus. Flavor is quite typical American amber, maybe with some more caramel impression. Not to impressive, but not bad at all. Quaffable.

This is probably my favorite lighter beer, good for a hot day or with pizza. Also, it’s great to have around for friends who aren’t beer geeks.

this was a big surprise, i was expecting a decent beer and got a truly solid offering... quite a bite of hops in this one ... dark syrup colour .. good good stuff ... the hop backbone on this is nice.. i highly recommend this one, seems similiar to sierra nevada pale ale..

This seems a little more citrusy and piney than some ambers I’ve had. Moderate toffee and caramel. A pleasant amber ale, but then again isn’t that what most amber ales aspire to...pleasantness? God, I’m getting jaded.

Nice amber hue with an off-white head of about one inch. Some lacing. Good floral hop aroma. Taste is sweet malts with just a kiss of Cascade hops. Not overly sweet like many of this style. A little watery but it is an Amber. Probably the most user-friendly Amber Ale on the market. Would be a nice transition beer for the macro crowd. Very nice.

Bottle, via Bitbucket. Nice, light amber color. Very light aroma of hops and caramel. Flavor is actually quite nice. Lightly hopped with some decent maltiness. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing. Nothing revolutionary here, but this is going down well on this 90 degree afternoon.
