Moderate aroma of sweet malt and citrus. Flavor is quite typical American amber, maybe with some more caramel impression. Not to impressive, but not bad at all. Quaffable. jstek (8), USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2008 This is probably my favorite lighter beer, good for a hot day or with pizza. Also, it’s great to have around for friends who aren’t beer geeks. SudsMcDuff (1692), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Moderate toffee and caramel. A pleasant amber ale, but then again isn’t that what most amber ales aspire to...pleasantness? God, I’m getting jaded. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA

Taste is sweet malts with just a kiss of Cascade hops. Not overly sweet like many of this style. A little watery but it is an Amber. Probably the most user-friendly Amber Ale on the market. Would be a nice transition beer for the macro crowd. Very nice. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Flavor is actually quite nice. Lightly hopped with some decent maltiness. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing. Nothing revolutionary here, but this is going down well on this 90 degree afternoon.
