Flavor is actually quite nice. Lightly hopped with some decent maltiness. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing. Nothing revolutionary here, but this is going down well on this 90 degree afternoon. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2008 12oz bottle: Crystal clear amber pour with a thin cap that sticks around. The aroma offers sweet caramel maltiness with a nice touch of sweet orange hops. The body seems a bit watery. A nice rindy bitterness leads the charge, with some buttery toffee and honey peaking through. The Cascades are the real plus here - fresh tasting with notes of candied orange and pink grapefruit. A nice enough beer, but a bit more caramel malt would definitely be welcomed. hayduke (1677), Eureka, California, USA

Pours a clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that laves behind a film top. Very little lacing if any. Aroma of a good balance of grassy hops, caramel malt, a touch of pear and some citrus zest. Taste is medium bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of caramel malt and some light citrus zest. Finish is slightly metallic with a mild hop bitterness aftertaste that quickly disappears. mustangjoe (172), redondo beach, California, USA
