Commercial Description:
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

Canned version brewed/canned by <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/ShowBrewer.asp?BrewerID=721>Pacific Western Brewing.

I’m impressed -- definitely not what I expect when I pick up an amber. Much fuller body, with good malty aroma and clean malty/hoppy and hoppy aftertaste.

Barely hazy, amber ale with an orange tint. Good retention and lacework. Butterscotch, spruce, grapefruit and clover honey in the nose. The flavor delivers black pepper, chocolate and caramel malt, pine nuts and dried plums. Lightly bitter. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish.
