Sep 28, 2005 Bottled. Pale amber, small head. ARoma of citric hops with butterscotch underneath, Dryish with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Rich toffee flvaour with plenty of hops to compliment it. Balanced spicy bitterness. Uncomplicated but good!

Jul 28, 2009 From tap at the Pyramid location in Walnut Creek. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild hops fruity, light peachy. Sweet malt flavoured, fruity, distinct peachy. Mild bitter and quite fruity flavoured finish.

May 21, 2002 I’m impressed -- definitely not what I expect when I pick up an amber. Much fuller body, with good malty aroma and clean malty/hoppy and hoppy aftertaste.

Jul 28, 2007 12oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy orangish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral and some caramel. Tastes of citrus an d caramel. Tastes and body on the thinner side.

Jan 4, 2004 Barely hazy, amber ale with an orange tint. Good retention and lacework. Butterscotch, spruce, grapefruit and clover honey in the nose. The flavor delivers black pepper, chocolate and caramel malt, pine nuts and dried plums. Lightly bitter. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish.
