Cold 12oz bottle: pours a black color with ruby highlights and a small creamy tan head that dissolves and leaves some lacing. Aroma and taste are of rich, smoky malts with coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied, smooth and well carbonated. Consistent flavor beginning to end.

Aroma of toasted malt and chocolate. Very dark brown color with a tan head. Starts with chocolate, passing to toasted malt. A hint of bitter towards the end. Decent mouthfeel. A bit over carbonated, but very nice indeed.

Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a reddish hue when up to the light and a fizzy tan head. The aroma is smoky with roasted malt, some sourness and light nuttiness. Fairly light bodied wtih a little sharp carbonation. Taste has some roasted malt with smokiness along with a sour acidic bite. The finish is almost non-existant. Fair porter.

Plesant balance of chocolate and coffee. Slight sweet and light on the tongue. Pretty flat pour, with a mocha cream light head. Not to strong, and pretty plesant in the mouth. Pretty basic porter.

Bottle 1.5 months past expiration date. Strong aroma of fruit, raisins, citrus. Dark brown/black with good head and lacing. Slightly watery taste with metallic aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel. Bittet. Slight coffe like notes. Not bad but will need to try a fresh batch to re-rate.
