Bottle. Pour a nice dark black with a thin brow head. Aroma is very nice on a cold night, roasty, little smokie, and hints of chocolate. Very creamy on the palate and swallows very smoothly and coats your entire mouth. Exceeded my expectations. Wonderful soft, yet very rich beer.

A nice, sweet lil’ thang that is an enjoyable concotion. Very smooth down the chute, and easy on the tummy. Yummy!

The Blackwatch pours dark brown with ruby highlights. It has a thin, fizzy brown head that quickly dissipates.

Its aroma is sweet chocolate and vanilla, and candy-like sugar. There’s also some cinnamon and a little fig. Very dessert-like.

The flavor is vanilla and sweet chocolate. It also has strong sugary cream notes. There is some roasted bitterness that helps to balance the sweetness. The mouthfeel is a little acidic and on the thin side.

Overall a nice, but sweet, porter. A little on the sweet side for me, but it would make a nice dessert beer.

Back in the day this was an amazing beer to me, now its still good but not as exciting. Very dark Porte, good head and thick lacing. Kinda thin for a cream, Porter, well balanced with a dark hop bitterness at the end.

I thought this brew was so much better from my memory, but tasting it now proved a different story. Pours very thin , needed a bit more body in my opinion. Only moderatly roasty in the aroma and taste, a decent amount of coffee tastes, this brew was well balanced, but not very impressive as a porter.

Great roasty flavor, not heavy at all. Not so great warm. Easy to drink and drink and drink.....

Poured black with a nice tan head that left almost as quickly as it came. Aroma is small and hard to detect anything other than the roasted barley. Flavor is really nice with a pleasant lingering bitterness and a great mouth feel.
