APPEARANCE: Poured from a 12 oz. bottle, the beer was black in color with a brown head about 1cm tall. The head died down quickly to nearly nothing. AROMA: Aromas were light with hints of sweet chocolate. No hops aroma noticed. FLAVOR: Not terribly complex. Mild chocolate and roasted grain flavors with light sweetness upfront. Quite low bitterness at the finish allowing roasted chocolate to prevail. No hops to note. PALATE: Medium low carbonation, medium body with a light creamy texture, and mostly dry finish. OVERALL IMPRESSION: The mellow flavors and body allow one to drink this beer easily. Nothing offensive here. This is a good easy-drinking porter.

Brown-black out of the bottle, tan transient head, light coffee aroma, roasty flavors, pretty smooth and thin mouthfeel. Balanced and enjoyable.

Poured dark brown, almost black, minimal head, tasty coffee/roasted malt, not all that creamy but a really good lighter tasting porter... recommend and will buy again! Cheers!

~Pours a lighter black color with small off white head. ~Good coffee and roasted malt scent. ~Dry roasted malt taste, some chocolate. ~Medium bodied, tingly feel, dry bitter finish. ~This is a nice porter. Good drinkin’.

Pours a very dark brown. Small brown head that diminishes very quickly. Aroma is chocolate and caramel with a touch of toffee. Malty smooth on the tongue. I see where they get ’’cream’’ porter as it has a very creamy finish. Is almost a ’’light’’ porter in the way that it goes down so smooth and easy.

I really enjoyed this beer. I’m starting to realize I’ve got a whole Sybil thing going on...I like fruity wheat beers, and I like porters...go figure. Anyway, this cream porter poured a thin brownish head. Very dark brown in color. Scents of roasted malt in the nose. No lacing. Very smooth mouthfeel, buttery comes to mind. Hints of malt and bitter chocolate in the smooooothe finish.

12 oz. bottle from mashmaster. Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head that is mostly lasting. The aroma is creamy roasted malt, chocolate, and light coffee. The flavor is mostly roasted malt, chocolate, and a touch of light coffee. There is an earthy quality to this as well. The finish is dark chocolate and bitter black coffee. Seemed a little thin early, butevened out to a medium bodied beer. This has exceeded expectations.

Bottle pours a dark clear brown with ruby highlights and ring of dark tan head. Reminds me of a milk stout. Roast, chocolate, cherries in the nose. Some molassis, a hint of lactic sourness,with an earthy dark roastiness in the flavor Chewy medium body. A chalky, ’dirt’ finish.
