Bottle. Old London style holiday ale. Dark brown-red color. Notes of tart fruits with a malty body.

Dark brown color, medium head. Roasted malts, mildly hopped, some spice? Slightly bitter with some sweetness. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is somewhat bitter, and slightly fruity sweet

A chestnut-colored ale that goes down warmly. A slight sourness, and yet also a sweetness, and a fair amount of hops. I was expecting a little more flavor, but viewing from the other ratings, not everyone’s been impressed. This is the first brew from MacTarnahans Brewing that I wasn’t wild about.

maybe its because im drinking this beer in august, but i’m really not very impressed. definatly has a strong malt and hop flavor, but seems more like a muddy mess of flavor. i’ll try this again in the winter maybe i’ll like it more then

Slightly bitter. Poured a deep amber color with a bubbly light tan head that faded into a nice lace quickly. Interesting aroma and flavor. Honestly I expected a bit more from this beer.
