Commercial Description:
Weighing in at nine percent alcohol, Grand Luxe will sandbag the unwitting with its pale straw color, mild hop flavor, dryness and alluring head of foam. A true Belgian Triple, Grand Luxe is made with unmalted wheat, spicy Belgian yeast and genuine Belgian candy sugar, which contributes to flavor and alcohol content alike.

spritzy cream aroma, orange with a uniform tightly packed head, creamy alcohol with a great mouthfeel and hints of citrus and clove

sourdough bread aroma, clear and bright orange appearance, sharply sour on the tongue - followed by some mellow maltiness, very hidden crusty french bread bitterness

I should just copy herbjones' review. It's pretty much as I felt, though I'd rate it lower.

A dark amber almost burnt orange pour with a respectable white head. Fruity/yeasty nose.Medium/light body. A little bit maltier than I expected. Sweet front with a saltiness(?) near the finish. As it warmed the Alcohol definitely started to show in the finish.

Bottle. A cloudy golden orange color with a light foamy white head. The aroma is yeasty with corriander, clove, banana, pepper, and citrus. I thought the flavors were more impressive than the expected aroma. There was a nice sweetness to compliment the dry, smooth, spicy flavors. The orange peel and citrus elements played well on the palate. Appropriately delicate but swings with a punch.

Pours a honey color with a frothy white head that quickly dissapates. Sweet yeasty aroma. Flavor is dominated by candi sugar, and has a honey & banana quality. Slight dry finish. Good Tripel. Thanks Raindog.

Small snow flakes floating a golden field with just a ring of white bubbles. Aroma of honeydew, caramel, only light spice and bubblegum. Smooth with a quick bananas foster finish.

A pellucid amber color with a yellow rim, no head or lacing, hmm. Aroma is slightly spicy with a contrast of floral hop and banana/clove. Grapefruit, pepper and malt dominate the flavor. This could almost be mistaken for an average saison, but it's not. Overall this was alright, but was a little too 2-dimentional for me.
