| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 30, 2004 Pours a very average amber color. Fruity nose with a fluffy quickly dissapating head. EXTREMELY fruity up front with almost no hop flavor. Somewhat malty in the middle. Very watery. Not impressed Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 30, 2004 Head is initially small, frothy, white, fully diminishing. Body is
medium yellow. Aroma is moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin), lightly
yeasty (dough), lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain). Flavor is
moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly
sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture,
lively carbonation. Mostly average and rather boring. And a very
misleading label (if you don’t look closely, you’d think this was a
Scotch Ale). jzzbassman (852), New Albany, Mississippi, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 6, 2004 Not objectionable, but boring. Nowhere near enough hops for the style, and it could really use them to balance the sweetness. Slight aroma and no head.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Apr 1, 2004 not good, very bland almost like a cheap pilsner than a pale ale. aroma was fruity taste was non-exsistant. amx1970390 (466), Southampton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Mar 29, 2004 B.S. This is not a Pale Ale or in any way a Scottish Ale. This is a very cheap american beer, ( i call it that loosley) It tastes like corn syrup. Has no head. No hop taste or aroma. This is nothing more than a "thick" Miller. gotebo (11), carnegie, Oklahoma, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Mar 26, 2004 Pale yellow color, no head, no lacing. Watery taste with an undertone of pinesol. A pretty damn feeble effort overall. Gromit (462), Port Orchard, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 28, 2004 Bleh. I think if I were MacTs I'd call this something other than a PA. It's just not to style at all, IMO. Or if they're going to add another adjunct, state it on the label.
Pours an amber with little head and no lacing.
Smells sweet with a hint of floral hops, but there's something else there as well.
Taste is off. Not sure what's going on there, but even without it this isn't that great. Malt and a bit of hops. < shrug >
Mouthfeel is full and creamy with a hint of a mineral feel. Drinkability is, well, it's drinkable but it's likely the last one I'll be having. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 24, 2004 Dark amber with white frothy head. Candy and fruit to the nose. Thin, watery mouthfeel and an unimpressive flavor.
