I am not sure if I'm tasting the heather in here, but this definately is mild. Not hoppy enough for my APA liking. No lacing to speak of and mildly boring. Steib (581), Queen Creek, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 12, 2004 Light golden color. A faint citrus hoppy aroma. Pales in flavor, light wheat maybe even a little honey. Sorry,the infusion of flavor and frangance are not there. A middle of the road beer. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 2, 2004 No head after about 10 seconds. Typical light yellow color for a pale ale. Smooth character with subtle flavors of hop, honey, and light malts. Would be a good beer on a hot summer afternoon. ¾ (5011), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 15, 2004 Yellow color. Aroma isn't too great... some hay and sweet honey, with a small hint of hops. Flavor is moderately good. Couldn't call it bad, just a light and crisp wheat/lemon/honey flavor, but the key being crisp. Could be a good lawnmower beer. Foxbush (468), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2003 Modest head. Golden color that said "drink me". Very smooth beverage that would be perfect on a hot day in the summer. This is not a complex drink just a good crisp beer. This is my fourth Christmas beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 22, 2003 Pours a translucent orange-yellow. Nose is hops and malt. Very pleasant hop based nose. The taste is lighter hops mixed with some malt notes and heather. Easiest way to describe this is Fraoch Heather Ale mixed with an American Pale Ale. Not too bad. Very smooth mouthfeel and finish. Easy to drink but nothing complex or over-the-top. Good beer. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 15, 2003 Clear light yellow, small white head, hard to detect any aroma. Not much going on here, a thin, boring brew probably best suited to accompany warm outdoor activities.
