Jan 7, 2004 Fine looking hazy orange - copper bear with a proper head. Flavor is balanced, but it could use a little more body. A good, but not outstanding IPA.

Dec 28, 2003 Poured a clean orange color with a large, bubbly, off-white head and some lacing. Citrus hop aroma with some mint as well. Taste was bitter grapefruit hops, and a long oak aftertaste. Soft round mouthfeel. This is certainly different than other IPA's I have had. Thanks jgb9348 for hooking me up with this bottle!

Dec 26, 2003 This one poured a hazy orange-gold color with a nice white head. Has a nice and pleasant hop aroma that has notes of citrus fruit mainly pineapple and grapefruit. Body is a tad thin but smooth none the less. Flavor is very good with a good dose of hops providing a sweetness and a good amount of malt to balance it all out. Overall this is a fine IPA in my opinion and one worth trying. I'm surprised this doesn't have a higher rating. Thanks to Sham for another decent IPA to try.

Dec 23, 2003 Medium amber, OK head, bright. Aroma overwhelmingly of boiled grapefruit. Sweet, cooked grapefruit pervades the flavor as well, with a bit of earthy bite at the very end. Overall a bit on the syrupy side, with some vegetal tones as well. I don't think the oak did this beer any favors.

Dec 12, 2003 Kind of a cabbage smell thats not to pleasing. Apperance is good. nice earthtones. the beer has a nice bite, and not much in the way of aftertaste. Its not a bad IPA but there are alot better out there
