Dec 10, 2005 Slightly hazy amber colour. Dusty, sweaty hop notes with a background of subtle wood. Toasty, dusty, woody flavour. Mild bitterness. Even-handed flavour. Hints of vanilla and herbs (sage, mint) round off an indistinct maltiness. Fairly sweet interpretation but with some unique flavours.

Dec 26, 2005 Beautiful copper color. Very nice hoppy aroma, resinous, caramel. Medium body, dry caramel, correct hopping, not enough malt, some metallic touch. Not impressive hopping.

Oct 13, 2003 Sparkling clear amber body topped by a smallish beige head. Aroma is floral, orange, pepper. Taste is mildly sweet, earthy, floral, some pepper, light grapefruit, light oak. Dry finish. Medium body. Not very bitter, pleasant English-style IPA.

May 25, 2004 Amber in color with a large off white head. Light citris aroma with woody smells. No bitter tastes at all. A little sour after taste. Not a typical IPA and not in a good way.

Nov 2, 2003 Updated: Nov 3, 2003Crystal clear, beautiful, amber-colored brew with a small creamy, off-white head.
The aroma is of grapefruit, light bourbon and oak.
Nicely-balanced. A little thin; nothing really distinctive in the flavor, except for a late appearance of some moderately bitter hops.
Light-bodied with a thin, oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
The finish is lengthy, bitter and dry. Leaves a lingering, bitter and oily coating on the tongue.

Jun 18, 2004 Bottle. Some oak in there, quite dry and citric, not lovely or anything, fairly dull, but tasty enough, pretty hoppy i suppose. it was OK.
