Commercial Description:
Here’s the original honey beer. Crisp and refreshing, with a hint of sweetness. To craft the beer, we enlist the talents of several million local bees for their pure, white clover honey. Our brewmaster then blends the ambrosia with select, two-row barley malt and balances it with prized Willamette hops. While the bees reluctantly part with their honey, The Great American Beer Festival enthusiastically receives it, as they’ve awarded OHB a silver medal in a category with more than 60 blonde ales.

Had this from the bottle at an Old Chicago in order to help me complete the World Beer Tour... not bad, not great.

From tap at the Pyramid taphouse in Walnut Creek. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity hoppy and with a hint of honet. Mild grassy and malty flavoured. Bitter and slight grassy finish.

On tap. Sweet honey aroma cut with a slight malt and hop presence. Clear yellow with a pure white head. Mostly sweet flavor of honey and malt with a very light bitterness. Light bodied with active carbonation. Decent beer, fairly refreshing but the finish is a bit too sweet.

The aroma is sweet and funky with honey, malt, and dish water. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall I don’t really like this it has a nice finish but this is like a macro lager with honey aroma added.

Straw yellow with the mildest of haze and a soap bubbly head. Aroma of sweet malt and honey. Over carbonated body is very thin and tastes of corn, malt and light honey. Astringent with a bad aftertaste.

Bottled, Hints of honey and citrus in the nose. Over carbonated, golden with a small head that dissipates into nothing. Dry, palatable.

12oz bottle with Butters. Pours a white head with a murky yellow body. Smells of honey, bread, and a hint of citrus. Tastes of honey bread with, i swear, a little lemon. Small to medium finish.
