Sep 4, 2006 Bottle: nice golden pour with a small white head. Taste is a bland maltiness with no real character. What honey are they talking about? Smooth, yet unflavorful and unimpressive.

Aug 20, 2006 Sort of a light malty aroma. Budweiser color with a really frothy head. Starts with arguable honey, something like wet paper follows, then it definitely has honey, but that weird flavor keeps coming back. Not a deal of hop. It’s there, just not a lot. It is crisp, but not dry. It gets more palatable as the bottle is consumed.

Jul 8, 2006 Pours like a mass-market lager - clear golden yellow with a small white head. Actually has decent retention. The nose is very thin and light. I found mainly malty cereal aromas as well as some light citrus hopping.
The flavor is a little better (that is, you can taste the beer). More bready malts and some citrus hop. The honey in this honey beer is a little tough to pick up. This beer is medium to light on the palate with a malty aftertaste. I rarely say this, but I’d like a little more hop presence in this beer.
