Commercial Description:
Here’s the original honey beer. Crisp and refreshing, with a hint of sweetness. To craft the beer, we enlist the talents of several million local bees for their pure, white clover honey. Our brewmaster then blends the ambrosia with select, two-row barley malt and balances it with prized Willamette hops. While the bees reluctantly part with their honey, The Great American Beer Festival enthusiastically receives it, as they’ve awarded OHB a silver medal in a category with more than 60 blonde ales.

Bottle: Pale golden, very translucent, moderate fizzy white, dies quickly, sparce lacing, light carbonation.   Musty grain aroma, somewhat cereal like, oats, hay...   Raw cereal on the tongue, minimal sweetness, with a slight metalic backside.   Fairly thin.   Overall its quite boring.   Not bad, but the grainy nose/flavor doesn’t help much.   Honey Beer?   Wha?

First smell was pretty much like old hops, but I’m not sure how old this bottle is. After a bit, the sweetness comes out some. Not a lot of flavor, even warmed up. Finishes fairly clean. Heck, there’s not even really enough flavor to determine a flavor.

Pale, straw. Some notes of aroma hops but strong malty aromas predominate. Light palate. Simple malt-bill. Is there honey here? Passable, quaffable, lawnmower beer.

The color is gold to dark straw with aromas of pale malts, some honey, and some hops. The palate is on the ligh side, and not terribly complex, with a very subdued honey and wheaty taste.

Pale gold beer with a thin white head. Sweet malt aroma with a "taste of honey" and a sweet aftertaste.

Pours a medium golden yellow color. Aromas of corn, hops, and a touch of sweetness. Flavors is typical lager with a hint of sweetness. Doesn’t really do anything for the beer. To sweet and honey like for me.
