Commercial Description:
Here’s the original honey beer. Crisp and refreshing, with a hint of sweetness. To craft the beer, we enlist the talents of several million local bees for their pure, white clover honey. Our brewmaster then blends the ambrosia with select, two-row barley malt and balances it with prized Willamette hops. While the bees reluctantly part with their honey, The Great American Beer Festival enthusiastically receives it, as they’ve awarded OHB a silver medal in a category with more than 60 blonde ales.

Looks and smells pretty bad with a faint honey in the aroma. Pretty generic ale, has less honey than any other honey beer I’ve had. Yet another honey beer that just isn’t worth it.

Some unidentified sweetness. Pale yellow (lager yellow) with a thin white line for a head. Somewhat watery palate and mild sweetness. More hop bite than I would have thought.

Sweet, bland. Pours a light golden, pee color, with a quickly vanishing head. Not that good. Wasn’t horrible or too sweet either. I didn’t finish it.

drain pour... the first tast was ok will a lot of sweetness and a trace of hops . The second taste was just swill. All sugar, nothing else noticable. Third and 4rth were the same... drain got the rest

In the end, this is a major disappointment. Sickeningly sweet, but nothing else. Sweet smell, sweet flavor, overpoweringly sweet on your mouth, it’s just not that good.

The label says "Oregon Honey Beer". This is indeed a honey beer from Oregon. That’s about as descriptive as I need to get. Yeah, honey sweet, tastes cheaply made. Its descriptiveness of labeling is about as good as it gets here.

Bottle. Poured that piss yellow color that happens when you’re dehydrated. Poured with little head. Smelled somewhat skunky. No taste of hops or malts, though a slightly sweet presence. Couldn’t taste any honey. I wouldn’t try it again.

In a word, boring! Very bland and unimpresive, one of the worst I’ve had on this trip. Miss this one if you can.
