Poured agressively, a small fizzy head is all that could be coaxed. No real lacing. Aroma is a bit of apple and maybe tea. Taste is something that I am trying to find something good to say about it. Its light, it’s thin, dont detect hardly any hops...any real flavor actually. Pretty forgetable. nomadicon (4), USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2004 light head. Subtly honeysweet nose. Crisp, silky palate. Enthusiastic barley and hidden honey flavor. Lightweight summer drink. chispito (19), California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2004 This reminds me of a boring Anchor Steam. Weak aroma. Fizzy vanishing head. Some hops up front, heffy-like in the middle and finishes sweet and--are you ready for this--honey like. Actually, the sweet stays with you for a while. It’s enjoyable, if unexceptional. I think I may have had it a little too warm. We'll as I work my way through the six. dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2004 This was a less than impressive beer, from a brewer that is usually slightly impressive. Not overly sweet with a bit of toasty malts, with a crisp aftertaste. Boring.
