| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 30, 2002 Aroma: If it was offered as room deodorizer I’d buy it in a second. Strange praise, I know. But it smells good.
Appearance: Resembles an un-filtered brew. It’s cloudy, but interesting enough to wonder what the taste is like.
Flavor: Sweet and smooth but it maintains a distinct hop note.
Palate: The taste doesn’t linger but it leaves you wanting more.
Overall: If I see it on a shelf without a sale tag it wouldn’t matter. I’d buy it anyway. It deserves an 18 because I can see myself drinking it any time, any season, any occation. Keep it pouring! MMM...Beer (385), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2002 Very surprised at these low ratings. However, I have to admit, before I tried this one I expected it to be another disappointing American Standard, but I ended up being very impressed. I of course enjoyed the addition of the real honey, howver, I my favorite characteristics of this beer were it soft mouth feel and creamy flavor. Definitely one I would have again. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA

Surprisingly large honey flavor, too, that blends with a clean, crisp hop bite. Nice honey character throughout. Surprisingly tasty. OD40oz (602), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2004 At this point I realize that I rate differently from most people at ratebeer. I score points for a beer when its exactly what it says it is. Again in this case. Its an ale, but it also tastes like the label says it should. Honey beer. I’ve had McTarnahans and I really like their stuff. This won’t set the world ablaze but it is what it is. Very nice brew. 666seth (219), California, USA
