Jul 28, 2009 From tap at the Pyramid taphouse in Walnut Creek. Pours clear and golden dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is light citrusy and peach fruity. Fruity and crisp bitter flavourd finish. Nice fruity and smoothly balanced with the malt.

Jul 14, 2009 Draft at the brewpub in Walnut Creek. A pale amber beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and other citrusy hops, on a malty and caramel back ground. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grassy and grapefruity hops, on a medium malty back ground, leading to a bitter finish.

Jul 8, 2009 22oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, pine, and some citrus. Tastes of the same citrus, floralness, pine, and some toasted graininess. Lively and carbonated body with a medium bitter finish.

Jul 7, 2009 Split the first bottle with my wife, and all of the second was mine alone. Nice creamy ivory head on top of a rich copper body. Aroma was pleasingly floral and hopped, and damned if it didn’t taste hoppy as well. Good ’sharp’ mouth and finish. Nice IPA from a good brewery.

Jun 29, 2009 Dense head. Appearance is like a amber and ruby quartz combination. Decent hop aroma. I read "lurking" in the description and I think it fits. There is a lurking after bitterness in finish. Good IPA for a sub $2 bottle. Just as good if not better than more expensive attempts.
