22 oz bottle. Pours a medium dark amber with a wispy head. malt nose with a little bit of fruit showing through. Medium body with s slighty off taste. More like an amber then a IPA.

12oz bottle. Beautiful, bright citrus hops fill the aroma. The hop flavor is a bit more subdued in the taste, but it finishes long and bitter. There are just enough malts to balance, and at 6.2% ABV it stays very drinkable. I also saw this on tap at Safeco....I gladly grabbed one to enjoy while watching the Mariners come back against the Red Sox...

Six pack from Market of Choice. Poured out a bright orangey shade with a big off white cap that faded fast and left minimal lacing. Aroma full of citrus hops with a very mild malt backing. Flavor was decently citrusy, but also slightly musty. Malts very muted. Not really my thing, but not the worst Macs beer I’ve ever had. Also the name and label are truly awesome.

Pours a golden orange. Aroma is there, nice hops and oranges. however, the flavor fades towards the end. Wish this would not taste so close to mactarnahans amber.

Haven’t been too impressed with the offerings from this brewery since "Mac" died, but thought I’d give this a whirl. Colour... a lovely copper hue with a semi frothy ecru head. Nose... certainly get the hops and a bit of citrus. Palate... nicely carbonated (not overtly so),definetly detect the Chinook hops, nicely hoppy and lightly piney up front and then it trails off quite quickly with a lightly metallic finish. Still the nicest ale I’ve had from these folks in a long time. Nice effort!

12 oz bottle from New Seasons - This beer has a pretty good aroma right out of the chute ,and it definitely looks like something I’d want to drink. As for the taste, it starts out pretty strong, but the enjoyment factor tails off a bit as the beer works its way back. It’s a bit like a cabaret show. Its really cool at the start, but then it just gets kinda weird.

Clear reddish amber with a one finger cream white head. Fair amount of lacing. Aroma is bold piney hops. Taste is piney bitter hops with a minor malt note. Mouthfeel is just above average and has medium carbonation. Drinkability is quite good if you enjoy the dry piney hop flavors. Best Mac-T’s so far.
