12 oz bottle via Hagen. Pours dark brown almost black with a small tan head. Nose is nutty. Taste is chocolate, hazlenuts, toasted grains and a bit of coffee in the end. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate/high. Very sessionable and easy to drink.

Coffee, oatmeal, powdered sugar. Darkest brown w/ brownish head that lingers. Roast malt the main flavor, some backing sweetness, alcohol edge, thick in the mouth, like oatmeal stout. warming finish.

(draft at brewery). Very dark body. Almost black. Small oatmeal-ly head. If you want a nice dark beer that isn’t heavy this would be a good choice.

Roasty nose, some coffee, and thats about it. Pours dark brown, thin tan head. Roast and coffee flavors. Very one dimensional and straightforward. Not very interesting, but nothing wrong with it either, but at 2.99 a bomber you cant complain and that bumps up the overall score. You can get way worse shit for 2.99.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace. Pours very dark brown with a frothy tan head. Smells of rich darkly roasted malt with possible xmas spice. Medium body with mild carbonation. Dark, lightly burnt malt flavor. Spice seems absent. Light bitter. Seems to be going coffee towards the finish. Not a lot of hop, but it’s pretty good.

Clear dark red-brown with a short tan head and low carbonation. Malty, alcohol aroma accompanied by faint spicy hints. Smooth with medium body and slight oiliness, and favoring chocolate and raisin maltiness. The hops are not absent however, lending a nice resinous tail end. I’m not much of a porter fan due to them usually having a heavy coffee taste, but there is no coffee found in this is top notch holiday porter!

12 oz bottle from Fred Meyer - This beer was gorgeous when poured into a glass. It had a nice chocolaty appearance with about an inch of creamy foam for a head. Not much aroma to speak of. The initial taste was quite good, but it has a bit of a watery finish. Overall, it’s a nice porter.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Food Emporium in Lynnwood, WA. Pours a VERY dark brown with a tan head. Aroma: Heavily roasted malt and coffee. Flavor: Same as the aroma, with hints of caramel and raisins.

Pours very dark, lots of coffee flavor overwhelms whatever else may be in the beer. Lots and lots of coffee notes.. Did not have a lot of depth of flavor. Some earthy notes hidden in there I think but mostly coffee.
