Draft: Poured @ MABC, reddish-amber color with a medium-sized white head and incredible amounts of lacing. Massive caramel malt notes along with an equally sinister amounts of floral and resin-y hops, some mild fruity hints noted as well. Full-bodied, especially for the style...flavors consist of caramel, light fruits and a wicked-ass hop finish that reminds me of a more balanced version of Upland’s Ard Ri. Exceptional brew.

Draft at brewpub. Pours red with light khaki head, one finger with great lacing. Nose is lots of hops with mild caramel. Taste is caramel with notes of chocolate and lots of citrus and floral hops. Great balance. Solid brew. one of their best.

Tap. Caramel malt and pine hops aroma. Reddish amber color with small head. Light caramel malt flavor nicely blended with pine hops. The hoppiest irish ale I’ve ever had - very nice beer.

Draft at MABC. Small ivory head that fully diminished, very nice lacing, transparent, no visible carbonation, and a red hue with some orange peeking through. Malty, caramel and lightly hoppy nose. Flavor was malty, caramel and a tad too hoppy for my liking. Tingly, hoppy mouthfeel. Medium body.

draft - Pours reddish brown with a medium sized head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is light and mostly of hops. The flavor is very hoppy, almost an IPA hop profile with a mild flavor of the roast malts characteristic of a red. The carbonation is light and the mouthfeel moderate. The finish is mostly of hops. I liked it. This is a nice session beer and one of MA’s better brews.
