good malty taste, can taste the malt on lips, an overall decent brew, some hops at the end, mild hops, which gives the true rating, a decent, yet mild brew that lacks something to be truly great

On draft at the brewpub. This poured amber with tinges of red and dingy head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts and floral hops Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is much the same at the aroma, and the finish is a bit dry.

Draft sample at brewpub. Pours amber with light red hues. Rimming, off-white head, some lacing. MIld malt nose. Taste is caramel malt with earthy bitter throughout that lingers into the finish and after. Not bad.

A medium khaki head tops a dark amber body. The aroma is nice almonds and toast with grape jelly. The taste is light iced tea with some blueberries. There is also a little bit of caramel. A decent vienna, but there is a sour hint in the background that is a little distracting. Also, this is less malty than I would expect for the style.

Pours copper with a thi white head. Smells of fruit, sweet malt, some sugar and perfume. Tastes spicy and peppery with some tea and a resiny finish. Nice!
