thedm (3407), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 1, 2007 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated dark orange colored body. The almost non-existant aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt hops cherry and semi-sweet. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. hotstuff (3060), Indiana, USA Jul 8, 2007 Tap at MABC in FW, In. Off-whte small head that was mostly lasting with a fair amount of lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and an orange-golden hue. Nose was semi-sweet, cherries and a hint of malt. Flavor was semi-sweet, cherries and dry. Smooth, dry mouthfeel. Light body. Too one-dimensional IMO and lacks character. BBB63 (3865), La Porte, Indiana, USA Jun 10, 2007 On tap in FTW: Deep golden hue with a small fading head and okay lace. The aroma has a light cherry juice character along with biscuity and grainy malt and a hint of dusty yeast esters. The taste a very faint hit of cherry but more basic sweet and toffee malts with no bitterness or acidic bite. The mouth feel is initially sharp but fades to a thin nothingness followed by a weird medical aftertaste. WHERE ARE THE CHERRIES? An udder disappointment to say the least. shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq May 30, 2007 Tap at MA. Strong cherry aroma on the artificial side. Reddish amber with a small head. Strong sweet-tart cherry flavor - slighly cloying. Light hops and artificial cherry finish. Liked the tartness of the beer but didn’t like the artificial cherry. patrick767 (1586), fort wayne, Indiana, USA May 2, 2007 tap at the brewpub - Pours an orange-ish color with a minimal head. The aroma is very mild and sweet. It tastes of sweet maltiness and a subdued cherry flavor. The body is thin to medium. It’s not a bad quaff by any means, but I would have liked more of... something. This is the right time of year for a sweet, easy drinking brew though, and it’s always nice to see MA roll out another new one.
