Draft at MABC. Small off-white head that mostly diminished, very little lacing, hazy, very little carbonation, and a straw hue. The aroma was wheat, some malt, bananas, some spice notes, and semi-sweet. The flavor is thin, sweet, light banana flavor and some spicyness. Mouthfeel was smooth and thin. Light in body. Overall, the aroma outdid the flavor as it was thin given the style IMO. If this had more flavor, then there might be something here to leave me wanting more. A disappointing beer IMO.

tap - 100th rating of Indiana beer - It pours slightly hazy yellow with a one finger head. The aroma is of wheat malt, yeast, and bananas. The flavor is light and sweet with just a little bit of banana in the background. It’s refreshing, but a touch watery. It could use a fuller flavor with better fruit notes. (rating moved from the happy weasel hefeweizen to the correct beer)

New in January of 2008, This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy very softly carbonated yellow-white colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was floral malty wheat and dough. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of mild hops breads dough and wheat. An OK brew just nothing special starts out good but ends with a poor thin wheat flavor.
