Unique69crazy (118), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 2, 2008 This is a good brew from Mad Anthony’s. I just tried it for the first time last Monday. I even brought me a growler of it. The selection that the brew isn’t all great, but I did enjoy this. Dark brown with no head. Malty and smooth. Coffee taste and a hint of cream is what you’ll experience while this goes down. Enjoy!
Dastrn (75), Warsaw, Indiana, USA Aug 29, 2008 On tap at MA in Warsaw, Poured dark, creamy brown with a heavy tan head. The nose was chocolate and coffee, with roasted malts coming through. The taste was roasted malt, with almond, coffee, and a little chocolate. Mouthfeel was very rich, with a bitter finish.
All around not bad for the style, but I’m not into it. rkuhnel (1232), Eureka, California, USA Aug 8, 2008 After the sweet stout I was not quite sure what the dry stout would bring but this was just fine. The glass contained a brown pour with a tan head and good lacing. Nose of roasted malts and chocolate and some coffee notes. Smooth and rich mouthfeel. Flavors of roasted malts and coffee, and the finish is long and bitter. Good brew. dpjuart (642), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 24, 2008 Draft sample at brewpub. Pours black with khaki head. Hose is roast and chocolate. Smooth nitro mouth feel, chocolate and roast taste with bitter. Solid stout. shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq May 30, 2007 Tap at MA. Charcoal, coffee, and dark chocolate aroma. Midnight black with small head. Dark chocolate/coffee malt flavor with a light charcoal finish. Nice flavor - a bit light.
