adamlangolf (20), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Oct 29, 2008 This is the most underrated IPA on the market. I buy, sell and try beer every week. I just had a IPA tasting at my house with 11 IPA’s last night and this one came in 3rd place overall. I placed it in 2nd with Founders Harvest at #1 and Bell’s Two Hearted at # 3. The tasting included Harvest Ale, Two Hearted, MA IPA, Lakefront, Victory, Stone, Boulder Beer, Great Divide, Dogfish Head, Great Lakes and Barley Island. Message me for the full results of our Hop Off! MartinT (4475), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Oct 3, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Piney hop resins lather the honeyed cereals, planting a vigorous coniferous and leafy bitterness that concludes this solid American IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the hazy blondish-amber.
-This is balanced in its intensity.
-The body is quite nourishing and contains a few dextrins too many for my tastes in the style.
-Orangey fruitiness also stems from the hop bill, a citrusy character which seems to latch on the sweet cereals throughout.
Bottle. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 @Indiana Beerfest-12oz bottle-pours a thin white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is northwest hops-lemon/pine (Amarillo & cascade?). taste is dry, northwest hops-lemon/pine (Amarillo & cascade?)-some bitter, some light malt. OK/mild carbonation.
satan165 (207), River Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 5, 2008 this definately has an interesting hop character. first of all they are upfront enough as i think an IPA should be but they have an almost ’dirty’ flavor, very savory, it reminds me of meat (???). this is good but the pale ale is nearly as hoppy but much cleaner. drfabulous (860), Columbia, Missouri, USA Jul 25, 2008 Oh boy. Really lovely. Hoppy and floral and just want I need right now: A solid IPA. One of the best of the Indiana IPAs.
