Bottle, from LeopoldStotch. Nice dark amber color. Flavor is caramel, Brown Sugar, dark fruits and some light hops on the end. Lots of alcohol burn, but other than that, it’s pretty decent.

22 oz. bottle via trade with miketd - Pours a slightly hazy deep amber color with a 1/2 finger thick light tan head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet cookie dough malt and esters. Flavor is big esters and sweet malt. Borders cloying. Light alcohol. Medium to full body. A nice sippin BW. Thanks Mike.

Bottle in trade from miketd. Thanks man! Pours a nice ruby semi clear color with a light beige head. Smell is almost a bit cola like with some sweet malt and subtle hops. Taste is fairly balanced and dry with some fruity flavors and caramel. A touch of booze, but not 12.5% worth, really. Medium body and carbonation. Decent barley wine overall.

Bottle received via trade with fiver29. Pours brown with an average, fizzy, light brown head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toffee), average hops (perfume), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of dates, apple, and brown sugar. Full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Bottle obtained from the brewpub. The best is the look: A big white bubbly head on a brown body. A lot of lace. Mouthfeel is a little light. Not significantly complex. Basically malty and drinkable. Some sugar. But not too sweet overall. Fairly boozy. Not much in aroma.
