Tmoney99 (3522), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle from The Brew Keeper. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Medium grassy hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Light to medium bitter flavor with a small bitter finish of short to moderate duration. My expectations were not met. bgburdman9 (722), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 28, 2008 On tap at luckys during ohio brew week. This beer was easy to drink and had a very strong resemblance to h2o. The was the slightest malt profile but this was definitely made to please the masses. Nothing special really. kujo9 (1044), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA Jan 9, 2008 1/4/07: Deep gold w/a lasting white head. Lightly floral, piney w/ a touch of grassy hops up front. Very clean! Pils malt flavor w/ a touch of graininess in the aroma. Flavor is a well balanced malt/hop flavors with pils malt and citrusy hop, that is also lightly herbal. Clean of esters, and has a very crisp flavor in the finish and aftertate. Lightly dry and bitter in the finish, and hoppy aftertaste. Hops win out in overall flavor by just a nose, and a very clean beer throughout. Highly carbonated, if a touch biting from CO2, but what lager isn’t? Smooth finish, and light, but not watery body. Very nice, clean beer! Lagers aren’t my personal preference but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this particular beer, and this one is worth trying if you’re there as it is well made!
