Scotchy vanilla oak aroma with low chocolate notes in the background. Very sweet entry, all boozy oak up front, but there is generous chocolate and burnt malt here to add some depth and complexity. Sweet finish with low bitterness. This walks a fine line, but falls short of being too boozy or too sweet, and in the end I really enjoyed it.
