Commercial Description:
This beer was originally brewed for a famous Reggae festival that happens each year here in Humboldt County. A malty bitter American Amber style ale. This mahogany hued ale brings an intense spectrum of hop flavors from the spicy aromatic to lingering bitter, all underscored by a full- bodied caramel richness. Try this brew with a little Jamaican Jerked Chicken.

Nice roasty malt aroma.. pours muddy brown with minimal head. Mouthfeel is thin and finish is bitter but short-lived. Taste has some nice hop notes with a caramel overtone.

12oz - Aroma of sweet caramel malts and crisp earthy grapefruit hops. Pours deep garnet with a small head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is crisp and tart. Not bad but nothing special.

Last reviewer nailed it with the description. "pine joined with grapefruit bitterness"...only problem is, this is supposed to be an Amber Ale not an IPA! If the brewer doesn’t even know what kind of beer he’s making, how can I give him a good rating?

Pours a clear dark amber with a respectable beige head. The aroma is caramel, juicy orchard fruits, and pine. Medium bodied, the fruit gets even juicier, the caramel sweeter, and the pine joined with a grapefruit bitterness. Pretty decent ale.

Pours a brownish amber with an off white head. Aroma is of caramel malt, citrus, and some pine. Flavor has a sweetness of caramel and toasted malts with a slight hoppishness of citrus.

12 oz bottle, pours a muddy brown amber with a light beige head. sweetish aroma of caramel malt and some woody grainy notes as well, and the flavor is typical of an amber ale, perhaps a bit hoppier than most but still a pretty decent amber.

Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured a brown color with a moderate fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration duration. Good drinkable brew.

Pours a darker copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus hops, caramel, and some yeast. Flavor is stronger of the caramel malts then the aroma led on to with some citrus and pine hops underneath. Sweet malts and yest are on the finish with a slight bitterness as well. Decent but just a little too malty for me.
