| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Last reviewer nailed it with the description. "pine joined with grapefruit bitterness"...only problem is, this is supposed to be an Amber Ale not an IPA! If the brewer doesn’t even know what kind of beer he’s making, how can I give him a good rating? Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Pours a clear dark amber with a respectable beige head. The aroma is caramel, juicy orchard fruits, and pine. Medium bodied, the fruit gets even juicier, the caramel sweeter, and the pine joined with a grapefruit bitterness. Pretty decent ale.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2007 12 oz bottle, pours a muddy brown amber with a light beige head. sweetish aroma of caramel malt and some woody grainy notes as well, and the flavor is typical of an amber ale, perhaps a bit hoppier than most but still a pretty decent amber. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Pours a darker copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus hops, caramel, and some yeast. Flavor is stronger of the caramel malts then the aroma led on to with some citrus and pine hops underneath. Sweet malts and yest are on the finish with a slight bitterness as well. Decent but just a little too malty for me.
