Pours light brown / reddish. A good amount of hops for an amber. Overall not bad. yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a surprisingly dark color - more of a brown with red highlights than anything. Head is minimal and aromas are dull and sweet, with little to offer beyond some brown sugar, a bit of date/fig fruitiness and washed out hops. Flavor is similar. Not inspiring, but not bad, either. Pretty malty sweet, though. PilsnerPeter (2667), Flushing, New York, USA

Bready caramel crystal aroma with some resinous fresh hops. Creamy carbonation. Nice flavor with a balance between bready/hearty caramel malts and a resiny hop presence throughout. Simple but solid and pretty tasty.
