Jul 28, 2009 ~Pours a slightly murky amber with large rocky off white head that lowers into a creamy head.
~Sweet malty scent with some spicy, dusty hops.
~Spicy hop flavor with a lighter malty backbone.
~light bodied, smooth feel, hoppy finish.
~Good Amber. I enjoy the hops. Nothing really screaming out to me saying this is a great brew, but good. Enjoyable.

Jul 26, 2009 Sampled in a bottle. Not a bad red ale. A lot more malty than other amber ales. Pours light brown / reddish. A good amount of hops for an amber. Overall not bad.

Jul 25, 2009 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with a small, tan and creamy dense head. Aroma is dry malty and light roasted. Roasted breadish to light caramelish malt flavoured. Bitter and slight fruity flavoured hops finish.

Jul 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy light brown with a thin, tan head. Aroma is resinous hops, caramel, toffee. Taste is bready malt, caramel, fresh acidic hops. Creamy mouthfeel. I was pleasantly surprised by this.

Jul 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a surprisingly dark color - more of a brown with red highlights than anything. Head is minimal and aromas are dull and sweet, with little to offer beyond some brown sugar, a bit of date/fig fruitiness and washed out hops. Flavor is similar. Not inspiring, but not bad, either. Pretty malty sweet, though.

Jun 22, 2009 Tap at ACBF 2009: Amber pour with a dense light tan head. Bready caramel crystal aroma with some resinous fresh hops. Creamy carbonation. Nice flavor with a balance between bready/hearty caramel malts and a resiny hop presence throughout. Simple but solid and pretty tasty.
